Seamless Eavestrough Installation vs Regular Eavestrough Installation

January 24, 2017 By Alliance Trust Aluminum

seamless eavestrough installation versus regular eavestrough installationEavestroughs and guttering form a very important part of your house structure. So much so, that without them, your home would likely suffer from regular flooding and other damage. It should be surprising then, that most of us don’t pay much attention at all to our eavestrough installations, only remembering them when they need repairs or maintenance. Yet, if we had given them the consideration they deserve in the first place, there’s a good chance that they would need much less maintenance and fewer repairs.

Should I Opt for a Seamless or Regular Eavestrough Installation?

Whether you are contemplating a new build, or are looking at repairing or replacing an existing installation, you should be aware that eavestrough installations are usually seamless or regular, joined gutters. Both of these options have their merits and demerits, and that’s why we’ve come up with some tips to help you choose which one is more suitable for you:

  • If you are looking for a DIY project – Traditional eavestrough installations are made up of separate gutter parts, which simply need joining together. This can make it relatively simple for you to join and assemble at home, thus keeping down additional labour costs. The trade-off is that these gutters are more prone to blockages and require much more maintenance than their seamless counterparts.
  • If you are looking for low-maintenance eavestroughs – Seamless gutters are formed from one continuous piece of material, without joints. They are made to fit your house perfectly, and this means that they are able to do their job with minimal complications. As there is no way for debris to be caught between joints, there is no strain on the guttering. This means they need less cleaning and will last much longer than a traditional eavestrough installation.
  • If you are concerned about safety – It is very wise to consider the state of your guttering as a potential hazard to your well-being. At the end of winter, we will undoubtedly see scores of households around Milton, Oakville, Burlington and the Toronto area, reeling from damage caused by broken eavestrough installation There are many things that can go wrong, which are then compounded by the cold weather. Even a minor buildup of leaves in late fall, can accumulate debris, freeze and cause flooding. Even more catastrophic results can come about when blockages drop into the drains and cause a buildup of water, which results in cracked pipes as outside temperatures rise. By using a seamless installation, the likelihood of suffering from such problems is vastly reduced.
  • When you have budget concerns – People can be surprised at the amounts they are quoted for new installations and baulk at the idea of spending a large amount on guttering. If you simply can’t finance a seamless installation right now, you’ll probably end up going with traditional gutters. However, in the long run, traditional gutters will probably end up costing you just as much, and take up more of your time. If you can afford the initial outlay, it’s often better to go with a new seamless installation and enjoy the peace of mind it gives you.

The good news is that you have already taken the first step, in that you are paying attention to your guttering and considering which solution works best for you. Consider the amount of time you are willing to spend on maintenance, plus any future costs and compare them with the upfront costs of an all-new guttering installation. This will help you to make the right choice for your home.

New Fascia Installation or Cladding Over the Old Installation?

January 24, 2017 By Alliance Trust Aluminum

new fascia installation or cladding over old installationWhen your fascia installation starts to look dirty or a little bit worn, sometimes a few licks of paint will be enough to restore the outward appearance of your house back to respectability. There will, however, come a time when your fascias have put up with so much from the elements, animals and so on, that they need to be replaced or repaired. As most people will probably only face this situation a handful of times in their lives – at most – it’s difficult to know whether your boards can be repaired, or whether it’s time to get a new fascia installation.

How Do You Know If You Need a New Fascia Installation?

If you take a look around homes in your area, whether that be Milton, Oakville, Burlington or anywhere in the Toronto area, you’ll see fascia installations in a variety of conditions – from brand new to rotting and decrepit. The key is knowing when, and how, to stop your installation from becoming like the latter. You’ll also probably see a number of quick fixes that should really have been full installations. Here are some tips to help you figure out what to do:

  • If Your Fascias Just Need Painting – If you’re tired of having to climb up ladders in order to keep your fascias looking fresh, you could benefit from simple cladding. Modern boards tend to last longer than old ones and need much less maintenance. However, you’ll need to have your existing boards inspected to make sure they are not rotting or infested.
  • If You Find Small Areas of Rot – It is important to check every area of your fascias for rot – it’s not enough to simply look up at them and make a judgement. If you do find rot, it doesn’t automatically mean that you need an entirely new installation. It does mean that you can’t clad over it, though. If you find small areas of rot, you might want to simply cut them out and replace them with new timber. Once that is done, you can go ahead with cladding.
  • If Your Boards Are Rotting – If you’ve found larger areas of rot on your boards, the safest and most sensible option is to go with a whole new fascia installation. It’s simply not worth carrying out a number of timber replacements, as this can damage the strength of the structure. It’s also not worth the risk of missing any areas of rot, which will end up spreading under any new cladding. A new installation eliminates these risks and will likely last longer than your original fascias.
  • If There Is Limited Rot, But It Is Due to Structural Issues – Quite often, rot is caused by a structural issue related to the boards themselves. Your fascias might extend out from under the roof tiles, meaning they have a high chance of rotting. Simply cladding over these boards doesn’t remove the likelihood that they will eventually rot. In these cases, it’s best to have a complete installation made, to new specifications, which don’t carry the risk of rotting later on.

The most important thing is to be sure that any rot – including potential rot — is eliminated from your fascias. To do this you need to have a clear view of their condition when you decide to go with cladding or entirely new fascias. So before you decide on a course of action, make sure you have thoroughly checked for any rot or exposed timber. Don’t be afraid of seeking a second opinion, either. There are, unfortunately, a number of rogue tradesmen who will try to make a quick buck by cladding over boards which really need fully replacing.

The Most Common Causes of Damage to Your Soffit Installation

December 12, 2016 By Alliance Trust Aluminum

damage causes during soffit installationA typical soffit installation is made of the same material as the sidings of the eaves – often wood – and completely covers the bottom of the eaves. In older buildings the soffits may allow for ventilation in order to improve the circulation of air in the roof, although this design has become less popular of late. Soffits, fascias and eaves are terms which are often used interchangeably, but to be specific, the soffit is the part you can see when you stand under the installation and look directly up. This position means that, in many ways, the soffit is less likely to suffer from weather damage than, say, the fascia or the roofing. That doesn’t mean, however, that the soffit is invulnerable.

What Kind of Things Can Go Wrong with Your Soffit Installation?

The soffits might not be the most obvious place for most people to look when looking for damage to the roof. Perhaps surprisingly, however, your soffit installation is likely to be the start point of any rot that starts in your roofing. In addition to this, it is highly vulnerable to water damage and mould. This water can stay on the soffit for long periods and lead to rot. All of this can lead to various types of damage, along with other factors. Some of the most common to look out for, include:

  • Damage Caused By Animals – Soffits have a special kind of appeal for a wide variety of wildlife. You may find damage caused by rodents, such as squirrels, looking to gather food. Birds may decide to make their visit more permanent, viewing your soffits as ideal places to build their own homes – beware of disturbing the nests of birds – many species are protected by law. Other creatures to look out for include bees, rats, bats, raccoons and mice. All of these could cause serious damage to your soffit installation and pose health and fire hazards.
  • Ice Dams and Flooding – If you have icicles hanging from your roof, there is a good chance that an ice dam is building up. These are usually caused by the buildup of snow, which melts under the surface and runs down into the gutters. This water freezes and forms a dam, preventing drainage and causing internal flooding in your house. Unsurprisingly, this is a common occurrence after a Toronto The correct way to prevent this, is to address any heat loss issues your home may have. Ensure your roofing is properly sealed – it’s always best to have a professional do this, as it can be dangerous work.
  • A Damaged or Blocked Gutter – This is perhaps the most common cause of water building up on the soffits and causing rot. You’re asking for trouble if you don’t regularly check your gutters for damage and ensure that they are cleaned properly. Neglecting to do this often means fallen leaves end up freezing and obstructing the passage of water, thus causing flooding to happen.

If you notice the soffit coming away from the eave or showing signs of rot, there is a good chance that the damage has spread to the underlying structure. Carrying out repairs can be tricky and is a job that is best entrusted to professionals. Whether you live in Milton, Oakville, Burlington or another town, you should try to find the most experienced tradesman you can to deal with it. Handymen and siding companies might not be equipped to deal with replacing rotten material in your soffit installation. Be sure to hire a contractor who is fully licensed and insured.

Frozen Eavestrough Installation: 3 Things Not to Do

November 22, 2016 By Alliance Trust Aluminum

frozen eavestrough installationSome of the biggest hazards faced by gutters and downspouts in the Toronto area are caused by cold weather. Perhaps the most serious of these occur when they become blocked with ice. This can often damage their structural integrity and increase their mass, causing further damage to the home. Once an eavestrough installation is blocked, it can easily lead to flooding and other major problems. Regrettably, there is no easy fix for gutters and downspouts that are blocked up with ice.

Think Before You Act When You Discover a Blocked Eavestrough Installation

Despite the inevitable frustration you will feel upon finding an iced-up gutter or downspout, you’ll need to resist the urge to find a sledgehammer solution to the problem. Such an approach will invariably make things worse. Trying to find a quick home-made remedy to this kind of problem usually results in more damage being done than if you hadn’t lifted a finger. The arrival of spring in towns like Milton, Burlington and Oakville often sees people digging deep for professional repairs and lamenting their carelessness. To avoid becoming one of them, be aware of the following:

  • Leave the Axe in the Garage – No matter how natural it seems to try to chip the ice away using an axe or a pick, and no matter how careful and skillful you believe yourself to be, this is usually a recipe for disaster. Ice can be tough to shift and you’ll have to put your back into it to make any progress. Even catching the surface of the gutter or downspout can result in its destruction. The ice is tough to shift, but it is very easy to smash your eavestrough installation with an axe or a pick.
  • Don’t Try to Melt the Ice by Yourself – While this approach admittedly seems smarter than using brute force to fix the problem, it is likely to be ineffective and could still have damaging results. Attempting to melt the ice with salt and other substances, will lead to an increase in volume and further flooding. It is likely that your drains will remain full and simply refreeze the following night.
  • Don’t Hire Uninsured Cowboys – Choosing to go with a professional is a good option, but you must beware of the many cowboys floating around in the winter months. They will tell you that they are insured and offer to clear the ice from your eavestrough installation at what seems like a good price. If things go wrong, however (as they often do with cowboys) – you’re going to have to pick up the bill when you find they have vanished and didn’t have cover in the first place. Always ask to see insurance documents.

Avoiding these three courses of action could mean you dodge a second bullet when spring comes around. But is there a way for you to dodge the first bullet in the first place? As it turns out, there is: At the end of fall, when the last leaves have fallen from the trees, you should make sure your eavestrough installation is cleaned thoroughly. Debris in drains freezes and prevents water from passing through. Once that happens, thawing becomes very difficult. No matter where you live, ensuring your drains are cleaned professionally at least twice a year, is the best way to prevent ice blockages, flooding and damage in the winter.

If it’s too late for that, make sure you choose a reputable tradesperson to deal with the emergency. Check their licensing and insurance – including workers’ compensation. If they cause an injury, you don’t want to be held liable.

Here’s Why Putting Off a New Fascia Installation Can Be a Decision You Regret

November 1, 2016 By Alliance Trust Aluminum

putting off new fascia installationIt’s just one of those facts about house ownership that we accept – fascias need to be kept in good condition, not only for the sake of the outward appearance of the house, but to protect the house as a whole from suffering. Proper fascia installation and regular maintenance work such as checking for damage, especially after the kind of severe weather we get in Toronto, can go a long way to giving them as long a life as possible. At some point, however, it is going to become clear that their time is up and they will need to be replaced.

Waiting as Long as Possible for a New Fascia Installation Could Be Disastrous

In many ways it seems natural to allow a product to come to the end of its life before replacing it. With fascias, unfortunately, it doesn’t work like that. The amount of damage that can potentially affect your house when your fascias even begin to look worn and weary, could be many times more than the cost of having a new fascia installation. It’s simply not worth risking, and here’s why:

  • You Have Begun to Share Your Home with Other Families – In this case, not human, but more than likely, birds and even bats. Birds very often build their nests in the roofing and supporting areas of homes – if you have been neglecting care of your roofing and gutters, you may find that there are already nests there. This will only accelerate the deterioration of the fascias, but it’s a very delicate task to move a birds’ nest and you will probably need professional help with it. From time to time, protected birds have been known to nest in places like Milton, Oakville and Burlington. In the case of protected species, you could be breaking the law if you do anything to the nest at all without approval.
  • It’s Not Only Birds that Appreciate dying Fascias – If you’ve allowed your fascias to start to rot, they will attract many different types of insects who have all kinds of uses for rotting wood. These insects will, in turn, attract larger pests who feed on them. Perhaps most worrying is the fact that many rodents, including rats are attracted to damp and rotting places such as worn-out fascias.
  • Once it Sets in, Rot is Tough to Stop – If you have allowed rot to set into your fascias, it is only a matter of time until it spreads to other places – most likely that will be other parts of the roofing. Don’t let the situation get so bad that you need to replace your entire roof. In fact, don’t let your fascias rot at all – get a new fascia installation straight away to avoid the problem even becoming a possibility.
  • In Old Homes, Asbestos Can Be a Serious Health Hazard – These days, asbestos is not used in home construction. But if your home is over 25 years old, there’s a good chance that asbestos was used in its construction. Fascias and especially soffits were often made with asbestos due to its fire-resistant properties. If you allow these parts of your home to deteriorate sufficiently, you could unknowingly cause a serious health hazard – asbestos is a known carcinogen. If you happen to know that you have asbestos in your home, you should seek professional help when it comes to removing it.

As mentioned, there are ways to reduce the risk of damage – regular cleaning, sanding down and repainting all help, but the fact remains that, eventually, your fascias will need replacing. When that time comes, arrange to have a new fascia installation rather than risk a much bigger headache.

Common Questions Homeowners Typically Have about an Eavestrough Installation

October 25, 2016 By Alliance Trust Aluminum

eavestrough installation in TorontoWhen it comes to eavestrough installation, most DIYers and home renovation enthusiasts will put down their tools and pick up the phone to call a professional contractor. The first reason for this is that installing an eavestrough can be tricky to get right. In addition to getting the spacing and fitting right, it’s absolutely essential to ensure that all joints are properly sealed, and that the whole eavestrough is fixed at just the right angle to ensure the right amount of flow.

There Are Several Eavestrough Installation Companies in the GTA – How Do You Know Which One to Choose?

There are many contractors in the local area – Milton, Oakville, Burlington and other towns offer several options for eavestrough installation. Now you need to know how to choose the best one for the job. You can do this by asking several questions and considering the answers you receive, in order to narrow down your options and eventually find the right contractor for your job. Consider asking some of the following questions:

  • How Will Your Existing Roof Warranty Be Affected? – Obviously the answer to this question differs for each particular situation. You’ll need to dig out your roof warranty and find out what stipulations are made about any modifications. Quite often, if the eavestrough installation disturbs the roofline, your warranty can become void. You’ll need to discuss this with your contractor and ensure that you are both conscious of how the work could affect your existing warranty.
  • How Long Will it Take? – This is a pretty straightforward question on the face of it. Unless your house is particularly large, has awkward access or requires some kind of specialist approach, your eavestrough installation should be completed within a day. As we well know, however, the weather in the Toronto area can occasionally deteriorate alarmingly quickly. If the job is postponed due to the sudden onset of winter, you won’t want to wait until Spring to get the job finished.
  • How Much Will it Cost? – Again, no two jobs are alike and there can be a big difference in price between a large and complicated job and a straightforward installation. Once the contractor has had the chance to take a look at the work that needs to be done, they should give you an itemized estimate of labour costs, materials, tax and so on.
  • What Are the Terms of Payment? – Most contractors are likely to ask for a deposit before any work is done. After all, they have to source the materials and keep their business running at the same time. For most jobs, the deposit shouldn’t be more than one quarter of the total cost. If you are asked for more, it could mean that your contractor is experiencing liquidity issues – they may charge you a high deposit and the delay the work in favour of more lucrative contracts.
  • Will the New Eavestroughs Be Seamless? – Seamless eavestroughs are made from a single piece of material, rather than several pieces joined together. They are usually preferable to joined eavestroughs as their natural smoothness prevents dirt and leaves getting trapped and eventually contributing to blockages. In the same way, they also offer better protection against leaks. Material that is joined together is more likely to break and spring a leak than one, continuous piece of material.

What is certain, when you hire a contractor to install new eavestroughs on your property, is that there is no margin for error. You need to be certain that you choose someone who will get the job done right at the first time of asking. Blockages and leaks can cause all kinds of problems which could end up costing you a lot more money. Don’t allow yourself to be swayed by very low prices – it’s standards that count in the long-run.

Soffit Installation and How to Ensure You Get a Good Deal on Yours

September 22, 2016 By Alliance Trust Aluminum

Good deal on Soffit installationThe soffit is a little understood component of your home’s exterior protection system. Without it the rafters that comprise the framework of your roof would be exposed to the elements and your entire house would rot from the inside out. Because so few people are aware of what soffits are and what they do it’s none-too-difficult for unscrupulous contractors to burn customers on soffit installation projects. In this post we’ll talk a bit about what the soffit does and how to avoid getting ripped off when it comes to their installation.

The Importance of Proper Soffit Installation

Soffits are important to the overall health of your home for a number of reasons including:

  • Protection from the elements: Without soffits the entire upper portion of your home would be exposed to the elements. Soffits prevent rain, snow, sleet and windborne debris from infiltrating your home’s framework and wreaking havoc. In severe climate areas like Milton, Oakville, Burlington and Toronto that’s particularly important.
  • Protection from infestations: Soffits defend your home from raccoons, squirrels, hornets, birds and other forms of infestation. These critters spend a great deal of time looking for safe, dry places to call home. Without soffits word would get out quickly that your home is just such a safe haven. Damaged soffits can also lay out the welcome mat for pests.
  • Ventilation: Proper ventilation is important for the upper part of your home. Good air circulation allows the home to breathe and keeps destructive, moist air moving rather than stagnating and causing mold and rot. If there is no other form of ventilation in your attic you’ll need vents in the soffits to provide that important ventilation.

Soffit Scams

As mentioned unscrupulous contractors will often take advantage of a homeowner’s limited awareness of just what soffits are and how they work. Some of the ways they’ll do this include:

  • Unneeded replacement: Some contractors looking to make a quick buck will come to you during an eavestrough installation and tell you you need to have your soffits replaced as well. They’ll spin tales of doom and gloom hoping you’ll sign up for something you don’t need. It’s a good idea before you have any work done on or around the gutters to make a visual survey of the soffits.
  • Incredible deals: If someone provides a bid for soffit installation that’s way below every other bid be wary and ask yourself “Where are the savings coming from?” Since labour is the contractor’s largest expense the savings will likely come in the form of rushed, shoddy workmanship. Corners will be hastily fabricated, match poorly and contain gaps. Nails won’t be properly countersunk. If the soffits are wide they may not bother to install a necessary centre support strip.
  • Second rate materials: Another place unscrupulous contractors will cut corners is in the quality of the soffit material. Aluminum soffits are typically your best bet but they’re available in a variety of gauges. Discount installers will go straight for the cheapest, lightest gauge aluminum they can get their hands on. These lighter gauge soffits will be more susceptible to dings and dents during installation and won’t last as long.

Lots of companies promise great deals on soffit installation but if the materials used are second-rate, the work rushed and the company unavailable to correct their mistakes a great deal turns out to be no deal at all. The best way to ensure you’re getting a good deal on your soffit installation is to partner with a company that has a proven track record of quality work at affordable prices. In Milton, Oakville, Burlington and Toronto that company is Alliance Trust Aluminum.

How Eavestrough installation can keep common gutter problems clear.

September 15, 2016 By Alliance Trust Aluminum

Eavestrough Installation keeps common gutter problems awayEavestroughs have a pretty simple mandate: Catch the water that runs off the roof of your home, be it in Milton, Oakville, Burlington or Toronto and channel it to the downspouts. Rocket science it’s not. But eavestroughs are only as effective as the job that was done to install them. Hire a discount or unqualified contractor to handle your eavestrough installation and you’re opening yourself up for a host of problems that can begin almost as soon as you’ve paid the installation bill and continue for years afterward. In this post we’ll look at some of those common problems that can be averted if you have your eavestrough installation handled by the pros at Alliance Trust.

The Importance of Quality Eavestrough Installation

Eavestroughs may seem like no big deal but poorly installed eavestroughs can cause a rash of problems that can lead to leaky roofs, unwanted pests invading your home, electrical problems, water in the basement and more. Below are some common problems with gutters that are often the result of poor or discount installations.

  • The gutters become clogged: The most common of all gutter problems is also one that will wreak havoc with your home if it’s not cleared up quickly. Better yet avoid the problem altogether by having your eavestroughs professionally installed, including proper gutter guards, to prevent the eavestrough from becoming clogged in the first place. Discount installers often skip this feature in an effort to save money.
  • Weak joins: Sections of eavestrough come together at what are called “joins”. If these joins are done quickly or haphazardly by inexperienced or poorly trained installers the sections of gutter can begin to separate almost as soon as the caulk is dry. The result will be water on the ground next to your foundation that may lead to excessive hydrostatic pressure on the foundation walls and water in the basement.
  • Gutters hung at the wrong angle: Gutters need to be hung at the proper angle so that water that enters them can be moved quickly and effectively toward the downspout. If the angle is too shallow water will stagnate in the eavestrough. If it’s too steep the downspout can become overwhelmed and water will spill over onto the ground. Hanging eavestroughs at the wrong angle is a common mistake less experienced installers will make.
  • Gutters coming loose from the house: If you look up and notice your eavestrough is hanging precipitously off the house it’s because they weren’t secured properly to the fascia. This is another problem that often pops up as the result of discount eavestrough installation. Discount installers try and cut corners by not using enough hangers. But improperly supported gutters can start pulling away from the house after only a few heavy rain events.
  • Downspouts depositing water next to the house: Eavestroughs and downspouts were invented to protect the foundation of the house. If all the water from the roof were allowed to cascade down to the ground around the foundation the house would have major basement flooding issues and perhaps become unstable as well. If the downspouts are too short and dumping water right next to the foundation you might as well not have an eavestrough system. This is another mistake made by companies trying to install gutters on the cheap.

Eavestrough installation is not a glamorous subject but having it done properly is crucial to the overall health of your largest investment, your home. Make sure when you need gutter repair or replacement that you choose the company more people in Milton, Oakville, Burlington and Toronto choose to do the job right: Alliance Trust Aluminum Inc.

Factors that Could Affect the Cost of Your Fascia Installation

September 7, 2016 By Alliance Trust Aluminum

Factors affecting the cost of Fascia InstallationThe fascia (the word is Latin for “band” or “swath”) is one of the most important but least recognized elements of your roofing system. Every time you look at a typical house you see fascia although most people are unaware what it is and why it’s so important. The job of the fascia is to act as a cap that runs around the edge of the roof sealing it from both the elements and pests and providing a pleasing visual aspect as well. Because it’s so little understood it’s also one of the components of a house that is most likely to be ignored until something happens to draw attention to it. In this post we’ll look at how ignoring problems with the fascia can impact the cost of new fascia installation.

The High Cost of Delaying Fascia Installation

Sometimes homeowners are late in fixing problems with the fascia because they were unaware there was a problem. Other times they were aware of the problem but didn’t think something so innocuous looking could pose any type of significant risk to the health and value of their home. In either case the price of delaying fascia repair or installation can be startling. Here are some of the extra things you may wind up paying for if you delay new fascia installation.

  • Roof damage: Moisture has a way of disrespecting gravity. If the fascia is compromised and moisture is allowed to penetrate for any period of time that moisture will gravitate up into the roof itself and begin eating away at the wooden beams and roof deck that underlies the shingles. When enough rot has taken hold you’ll wind up having to repair a good portion of your roof when you finally get around to installing the new fascia.
  • Pest infestations: No one replacing old fascia is going to simply absorb the cost of rooting out a raccoon or squirrel infestation as well. You’ll likely need to call a specialist to come and take care of that for you. If, however, you take care to replace the fascia before it rots through – or is clawed through by pests determined to find a warm, dry place to call home – you’ll wind up saving a lot of money.
  • Damage to the soffit: One of the most common results of delaying new fascia installation is that the elements penetrate and begin to work away at the soffit, which may have been in otherwise perfectly fine shape. If you notice black spots on the underside of the soffit that typically means you have water intrusion which is likely coming from a rotten or otherwise compromised fascia and you’ll need to replace that soffit too.
  • Damage to the home’s electrical system: The fascia’s most important job is to keep moisture out of the house. If the fascia is damaged and rain and snow are getting in given enough time this moisture will find its way down the exterior walls of the home where it can engage in all manner of mischief including causing water damage to drywall and interfering with the home’s electrical system. Short circuits are not uncommon as a result but things can get more serious than that as well and require expensive repairs.

Whether you live in Oakville, Milton, Burlington or Toronto, the importance of recognizing and acting to fix issues with the fascia on your home is the same. By letting problems fester you are pretty much guaranteeing that when you do finally have a fascia installation performed you will need to conduct additional repairs at the same time that will significantly increase the cost of the project.
